Through the years, we all have our share of annoying stains that sometimes ruin our moods, especially when it stains one of our favorite shirts or pants. Now we should not feel totally down since removing the stains are quite easy, provided that you actually know what you are doing. On the contrary, rushing into things will also ruin your clothes if you perform actions that will ruin your clothes. Therefore I have compiled some of the more useful stain removal tips for clothes that should guide you the next time an annoying stain happens.

Before we start, it is important for you to know that stains should be dealt with as soon as they are caused. If you let a stain dry, especially on sensitive fabric, then you will have a hard time removing it. Sometimes these stains even become permanent in which case, you must either throw away your shirt or just live with the stain.

Now that we got that out of the way, let us go to the proper stain removal process. You will need two things, one is a piece of absorbent cloth and the other is a container of water. Preferably a bucket but make sure it is light enough so you can carry it around. Alternatively,  you can also bring your shirts near the bucket.

The process starts with you soaking the sponge first and then wringing off the excess water. We do not want the stain to flow in all directions so you must keep your sponge just moist. Now press hard on the stain with your sponge at 30 second intervals. After that, switch to the other side of your shirt as it has surely penetrated it. If you do this for around 10 minutes, you should see a big difference in your stain and in most cases might be removed entirely.

There you go, just follow these stain removal tips and you should be good to go!
